Boredomfighters Music Industry Champions. For music venues, festivals, touring artists, brands and private donors. Will YOU be our champion? We are calling on all local venues, festivals, touring musicians, event production companies, philanthropic businesses and private donors to activate their communities by partnering with The Boredomfighters to help bring modern music education to underserved communities near you. This generous gift will cover the operating expenses for a local Boredomfighters Branch, allowing us to start inspiring the next generation while properly equipping them with the skills for success. Music Industry Champions are the people who make it possible; The Industry Fund is the fund that fuels our mission. How it works: pledge $1 per ticket for a year or a one-time major donation; this feeds an Industry Fund that covers the operational costs of sustaining our mission; this allows all public monthly donations to go directly towards more free youth programs.

The Industry Fund. None of this work is possible without our Industry Fund Champions: venues, festivals, touring artists, philanthropic businesses and private donors who each pledge donations to this fund in order to cover all operational costs for a local Boredomfighters branch. Four ways to contribute: Music Venues become a local champion by pledging $1 per ticket sale for a year; Festivals activate the local community by pledging $1 per ticket; Touring Artists rally their fans to make change by pledging $1 per ticket sale; Brands and Donors give back to their community through a significant donation.
Become An Industry Champion Today
Local Activation Breakdown. We educate youth through two main activations: Community Workshops and Personal Mentorships. Community Workshops bring the activation to the classroom, teaming up with schools, community centers and learning establishments to activate up to 250 students per session. Personal Mentorships: when students show an elevated amount of interest, we offer them free personal mentorships to help them further develop their skills and activate into the local community. Every time someone joins the Community Fund, they sponsor another student who wants to pursue a life in music. Through our Industry Fund, local branches acquire studio gear and bring workshops and studio assemblies to schools. In those assemblies, we meet students who want to pursue further learning, then connect them with a mentor for the school year. 100% of the amount raised by the Community Fund is used for those mentorships. 10 community members equals 10 students creating music.

How Does It Work?! Boredomfighters Music Industry Champions. The Industry Fund: music venues, touring musicians, local businesses and private donors are rallied to become our Industry Champions, supporting the cause by donating $1 per ticket sale to help fund a Boredomfighters chapter in your area. This is the first step to bringing workshops to your community. This generous donation covers operational costs for equipment and ongoing free workshops in local schools and community centers who serve youth that are historically disadvantaged. The Community Fund: once an Industry Fund is established in an area and raises enough for the branch to start running studio sessions, we can start to meet kids who need support. We provide those kids with mentorships using funds raised by fans who donate $8/month or more. Local Impact Projects: after the stage is set and The Community Fund is helping build young creators, that local team works with our nationwide ecosystem of touring artists, educators, and coordinators. We then can all collaborate with the school districts to inspire, educate, and activate local youth in their local music industry. Pledge $1 per ticket for the Industry Fund, or $8 per month for the Community Fund.
